Not a big fan of Motel 6 in general, but this is not a cookie-cutter Motel 6. It is recently (Aug 2022 review) under new ownership and you can tell they are working hard to make the place nice. The room had new flooring, paint, and tile. We had two issues (plugged toilet and dead microwave) that were very quickly taken care of.

The hardwood floors is a plus and the shower pressure was perfect. We enjoyed the quietness due to the empty rooms surrounding ours. No sign of bed bugs - so we slept well. Parking in front of the room for quick and easy unloading/loading and running in from the cold. The heater/cooling unit functions perfectly.

The location was convenient. The room was simple but comfortable. As for breakfast, we got up late, lol. (Had breakfast at my sister's home.) We were really happy with the woman at the front desk. The door keys were wonderful, not tricky like at other motels.

Staff were very friendly and considerate. The room was simple but nice. It was clean and comfortable. Very dog friendly.
